In 1970 Alasdair of Auldstane (Ch. Adrian of Enterkine
X Ch. Gayleward's Cullean) bred by Jan Buchanan, whom I
called "Kaird", came to me after a four year search
for the perfect companion.

He was all that, and more. So began a life-long love affair
with this breed regardless of where my profession has taken
me.

our "Best Brace in Snow"

Now we spend more time at Fern Hill working with the conservation land trust
community, rebuilding our two heritage farms and relaxing…
